Músicas sobre a Australia para você se emocionar

É engraçado viver em um outro país, aos poucos você vai criando um vínculo muito forte com esse novo mundo, seu coração vai se abrindo para deixar entrar um pouco dessa nova cultura, desse estilo de vida e quando menos se espera, você se sente parte de tudo isso!

Já senti esse nascimento de um novo país quando me mudei para o Canadá e agora estou revivendo isso aqui na Australia. Claro que dessa vez, tudo vem acontecendo mais rápido, pois como já morei aqui por 2 anos, entre 2010 e 2012, o negócio aflora numa velocidade que a gente não consegue controlar (risos).

Nesse post separei 3 músicas sobre a Australia que eu acho super pertinente para esse sentimento de “fazer parte”, espero que curtam 🙂

Música 1: “I am Australia”

Estava assistindo a ABC, um dos canais de TV gratuito da Australia, e vi um comercial com a música “I am Australia”, e sabe quando um lágrima começa a escorrer no rosto? Pois é …

Eu particularmente acho que a Australia deveria trocar de hino nacional, pois esse sim nos transporta ao que é ser australino(a), pois engloba todos os personagens que fizeram parte da história do país.

Um música que celebra a união dentro da diversidade, que reconhece as diferentes etnias que formaram (e ainda formam) a nação e que abraça sua história com orgulho de ser australiano.

“I am Australia” foi escrita em 1987, mas continua muito atual!

Tem dois vídeos para compartilhar dessa música, o primeiro foi a propaganda da ABC, a música não está completa, mas toca na alma…

Música 2: Straya

Um versão bem engraçada sobre um “potencial” novo hino australiano viralizou na internet em 2015 e não tem como não sair cantando, dançando e se divertindo com as imagens que aparecem no vídeo.

O criador, Terry Mann, criou uma nova lírica em cima da música do Outkast’s “Hey Ya!” e o cara simplesmente apavorou! Para quem entende um pouquinho de Australia não tem como não rir …

Música 3: I still call Australia Home

“I still call Australia Home” foi a música feita e cantada por Peter Allen pela primeira vez em 1980 e ela retrata um pouco da nostalgia dos australianos que vivem longe de casa. Talvez você já a tenha escutado, pois ela foi usada em vários comerciais da Qantas (empresa aérea australiana).

Acho ela tão emocionante, pois consigo me imaginar como australiana vivendo em outro país e relembrando do melhor país do mundo tropical para se viver!!! Porque quem me conhece já sabe que eu adoraria ter nascido aqui na Australia, apesar de amar ser brasileira!
