Assim como a gente tem “Aquarela do Brasil” como um segundo hino nacional; uma música que fala da gente como tem que ser, que a gente entende o que quer dizer e que onde quer que a gente escute, dá um orgulho danado de ser brasileiro. A Australia também tem sua canção de estimação e que é linda pra xuxu…

“I still call Australia Home” foi a música feita e cantada por Peter Allen em 1980 que retrata um pouco da nostalgia dos Australianos vivendo longe de casa e talvez você já a tenha escutado sem querer, pois ela foi usada em vários comerciais da Qantas (empresa aérea australiana)…

E sinceramente, não tem como não se apaixonar, ainda mais no nosso caso que estamos morando em  OzLand!

 

Para vocês terem uma idéia, até na cerimônia de cidadania, aquela onde imigrantes oficialmente se tornam australianos, toca-se a música e todo mundo canta!!! Super bacana! (Aliás, tenho que um dia falar sobre essa cerimônia…).
